§ 01

Data controller

1.1
The controller for the processing of your personal data is JungleDestination, trading under the name OnDestination.
1.2

This privacy policy applies to all personal data that OnDestination processes in the context of its services in event organisation, audiovisual technique, DJ services and graphic design, as well as via the website ondestination.nl.
§ 02

Data we process

2.1
Contact details: name, email address, telephone number and address that you provide when requesting a quote, making a booking or getting in touch.
2.2
Event information: date, location, type of event, requested services and special wishes that are necessary for the performance of the agreement.
2.3
Payment information: invoicing data necessary for the financial handling. Payment data is processed via our payment service provider and not stored by OnDestination.
2.4
Communication data: messages and correspondence you exchange with us via email, WhatsApp or contact forms on our website.
2.5
Website data: technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, collected via cookies and similar techniques (see section 10).
2.6
OnDestination only processes data that you provide yourself or that is generated automatically when you use our website. We do not process special or sensitive personal data, unless this is expressly necessary and you have given consent for it.

Purposes of processing

3.1
Performing the agreement, including planning and delivering our services, the financial handling and communication about your event.
3.2
Answering questions, quote requests and other client contact via all available channels.
3.3
Complying with legal obligations, including the tax retention obligation under tax law.
3.4
Improving our services, analysing website use and optimising the user experience.
3.5
Marketing and newsletter, only after your explicit consent. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in our emails or by getting in touch via contact@ondestination.nl.
§ 04

Web shop and orders

4.1
OnDestination Refurbished processes additional personal data in the context of the web shop activities via ondestination.nl/refurbished. When you place an order we collect the following data:
  • a)First and last name;
  • b)Invoicing address;
  • c)Email address and telephone number;
  • d)Order history and product information;
  • e)Payment data. This is processed via payment provider Mollie; OnDestination does not store full payment data itself.
4.2
We process this data for the following purposes:
  • a)Processing and confirming orders;
  • b)Scheduling collection times;
  • c)Invoicing and compliance with the VAT margin scheme;
  • d)Handling returns, complaints and warranty matters;
  • e)Meeting statutory administrative obligations.
4.3
Payment data is processed by Mollie B.V. Mollie acts as an independent controller for the payment processing. You can find more information at mollie.com/en/privacy. Data processing agreements have been concluded with all parties involved where applicable.
4.4
Order and invoicing data is kept for 7 years in accordance with the statutory tax retention obligation. Other client data is deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for handling the order or an ongoing complaint.
§ 05

Legal basis

5.1
Performance of an agreement (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): processing that is necessary to deliver our services and handle bookings.
5.2
Legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): processing that is necessary to comply with legal obligations, such as the seven-year tax retention obligation.
5.3
Legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): processing to improve our services, handle complaints and secure our systems. We always weigh this interest against your privacy interests.
5.4
Consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): processing for marketing purposes, only after your explicit consent. You can withdraw this consent at any time without this affecting processing that has already taken place.
§ 06

Retention periods

6.1
We do not keep your personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or for as long as legally required.
6.2
Client data and invoicing data is kept for seven years, in accordance with the tax retention obligation.
6.3
Quote data for bookings that did not go ahead is deleted no later than two years after the quote was issued.
6.4
Communication data is kept as long as it is relevant to the client relationship. After the client relationship ends, this data is deleted within twelve months, unless a longer retention obligation applies.
6.5
Website data collected via cookies is kept in accordance with the periods set out in our cookie policy (see section 10).
§ 07

Sharing with third parties

7.1
OnDestination does not share your personal data with third parties, unless this is necessary for the performance of the agreement, required under a legal obligation, or you have given consent for it.
7.2
To deliver our services we may work with carefully selected processors, such as payment service providers, accounting software and hosting providers. We conclude data processing agreements with these parties to ensure an appropriate level of security.
7.3
If we engage artists or other external performers for your event, only the data that is strictly necessary for the performance is shared, such as the date, location and contact details.
7.4
We do not share personal data with parties outside the European Economic Area, unless appropriate safeguards have been put in place in accordance with the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
7.5
We never sell your personal data to third parties.
§ 08

Data security

8.1
OnDestination takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration.
8.2
Our connections are secured with HTTPS encryption. Access to personal data is limited to staff and partners who necessarily need this data to carry out their work.
8.3
In the event of a data breach that poses a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will inform you as quickly as possible, and in any case within 72 hours of the breach being discovered. We will also report it to the Dutch Data Protection Authority in accordance with the legal obligation.
§ 09

Your rights

9.1
Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access Request a copy of the data we process about you (art. 15 GDPR).
Rectification Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected (art. 16 GDPR).
Erasure Have your data deleted, unless a statutory retention obligation applies (art. 17 GDPR).
Restriction Request that the processing of your data be temporarily restricted (art. 18 GDPR).
Portability Receive your data in a commonly used format (art. 20 GDPR).
Objection Object to processing based on legitimate interest (art. 21 GDPR).
9.2
To exercise a right, you can submit a request via contact@ondestination.nl or in writing to our registered address. We respond within the statutory period of one month. In complex cases or where there are a large number of requests, this period may be extended by two months; we will inform you of this in good time.
9.3
To verify your identity, we may ask for a copy of a valid identity document. We ask you to make the citizen service number (BSN) and passport photo on the copy illegible to protect your privacy.

Cookies

10.1
Our website uses functional cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to work properly. No consent is required to place functional cookies.
10.2
We use analytics cookies to measure and improve the use of our website. The data collected is processed anonymously where possible and is not used for marketing purposes.
10.3
We do not place marketing cookies or third-party tracking cookies without your prior, explicit consent. On your first visit to our website you are asked for consent via a cookie banner.
10.4
You can adjust your cookie preferences at any time via your browser settings or by reopening the cookie banner on our website. Please note that disabling certain cookies may limit the functionality of the website.

Our website may contain references to external websites, social media platforms or partner websites. OnDestination is not responsible for the content or privacy policy of these external websites.

We advise you to consult the privacy policy of each website you visit separately before providing personal data.

Changes and contact

12.1
OnDestination reserves the right to amend this privacy policy. The most current version is always available at ondestination.nl/privacypolicy. In the event of material changes we will notify you of this by email, in so far as we have your contact details.

Do you have questions, comments or complaints about the way we handle your personal data? Then get in touch via contact@ondestination.nl or in writing at Oosteinderweg 156 E, 1432 AP Aalsmeer.
12.3
If you believe that we are infringing your privacy rights, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the competent supervisory authority in the Netherlands. You can do so via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
