About OnDestination Refurbished
We have been running events for years with professional light and sound equipment. That gear lasts a long time, but not everything stays in our fleet. Instead of leaving it idle, we refurbish it and pass it on, honestly assessed and honestly priced.
Why refurbished
Professional equipment is expensive and, well maintained, easily lasts a second round. By refurbishing and reselling units from our own use and from the market, we prevent good equipment from sitting idle in a warehouse.
At the same time we make that quality accessible to private buyers and small event companies who do not want to or cannot pay the catalogue price of a new unit. Everyone wins: you get value for money, the gear gets a new home.
Origin of the products
The majority comes straight from our own event fleet: units we are replacing or no longer use. We know the history of every piece and how it has been maintained.
In addition we buy in selectively on the second-hand market: quality brands we know and trust. Everything that comes in goes through the same checks before it appears in the shop.
Testing & assessing
Nothing goes into the shop unseen. Every unit goes through set steps before we offer it.
We power up the unit and check all functions: for lighting the pan/tilt, gobos, colours and dimming; for sound all channels and inputs and outputs; for DJ equipment jogs, faders and connections.
We map the state of the housing, lenses and controls and record any details. Based on that we assign one of the four fixed condition grades.
Where needed we clean, replace parts or lamps and carry out minor maintenance, so the unit is ready for use the moment you collect it.
Only then does the product go online, with a condition grade, an honest price and a description of any details. No surprises on collection.
Condition scale
We always use the same four labels. So a condition grade means the same thing every time with us.
Unused and in original or equivalent condition. Possibly without original packaging, but without signs of use.
Minimal signs of use that do not affect operation. Fully functional and cosmetically near-flawless.
Visible signs of use such as small scratches or wear on the housing. Technically fully functional.
Clear signs of use and cosmetic flaws. Fully functional; any details are noted in the product description.
Ordering & receiving
At checkout you choose: shipping throughout the Netherlands, or free collection by appointment in Aalsmeer. In four simple steps.
You place your order via the webshop, choose shipping or collection and pay with one of the available payment methods.
After receiving payment we confirm your order by email. That makes the purchase final.
We ship your order carefully packed, or arrange a collection time in Aalsmeer that suits you.
You receive the product at home, or collect it and check it on the spot. Ready for your next event.
Payment methods
You pay online via our payment provider Mollie. Only after receiving full payment do we process your order and ship it or schedule a collection.
The VAT margin scheme applies to all products. Prices include VAT; VAT is not stated separately on the invoice and is not deductible for business buyers.
